Magazine abbreviations used in the following listing: The indispensable reference for anyone who wants to model D&H rolling stock is the D&H Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment, by Jim Odell, Jeffrey Martin, Gardiner Cross, and Jack Wright, in cooperation with the Bridge Line Historical Society, published by Morning Sun Books in 1997. All models and kits are HO scale unless otherwise specified. Also included are reviews of some locomotives and car kits especially suited for modeling D&H equipment. ![]() ![]() A few of the articles listed do not deal specifically with D&H prototypes but explain techniques that are useful for modeling them. Titles of magazines are abbreviated except when first mentioned within a category. Within categories, locos and cars are listed approximately in the order in which the D&H acquired them.
